The congregation will collect items to be donated to the Domestic Violence Shelter, located in Mansfield. The Domestic Violence Shelter has been serving our area since 1978. They provide safety, education, and support services to empower all survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, or stalking. Items to be collected and donated are; shampoo and conditioner, body wash, hairbrushes, hair ties and hair clips, underwear, bedding, towels and washcloths, food storage containers, Ziploc bags, and shelf stable proteins (beans, peas, tuna, canned chicken).

The Congregation of Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church collected hygiene items to be distributed at the Lucas Area Food Pantry in June. Items collected included: tampons, pads, feminine wipes, incontinence products, deodorant, shaving cream and razors for both men and women. 

The House of Prayer at the Lucas Community Center will be open the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm. Please stop in this Thursday to share your prayer requests.
